Lantern Hollow

Lantern Hollow is the game I keep recommending to people who say mobile games are all noise and timers. It is a slow, hand-drawn adventure where you wander an abandoned village, light lanterns, and slowly piece together what happened there. No timers, no interruptions, just atmosphere.

Tap-to-move navigation is gentle and never fiddly, and the puzzles are logical rather than obtuse. It sips battery because it is not doing anything flashy, which makes it a lovely travel game. Play it with headphones — the sound design does a lot of quiet work.
